If you choose Cairns Pool Care to provide your pool acid washing service, then yes – your pool will be safe to swim in as soon as we have neutralized the water and balanced the chemicals. This generally takes anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour after we have refilled your pool.
That all depends on the size of your pool and the number of stains and calcification that we need to clean and remove. Larger pools obviously take longer to drain and refill. Depending on the volume and severity of stains and calcification, the actual ‘cleaning’ and acid washing generally takes between 4-5 hours.
So, to give you a general idea, we can usually complete a thorough Cairns pool acid washing service in 2 to 3 days. The longest part of the process is refilling the pool with fresh water.
